Hi, I'm Emily
I enjoy working with people to help them to heal and develop meaningful lives. I provide evidence-based intervention that is tailored to each individual, in a space which is safe, non-judgemental, and open to all individuals despite gender, culture, religion or sexuality. I provide intervention for a range of presentations, including anxiety and depressive disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma, substance misuse, sleep difficulties, and relationship issues. I have a specific interest in sex therapy, sexuality, sexual health, and sexology. This includes problematic sexual behaviours, sexual offending, sexual dysfunction, sexual trauma, and sex and/or pornography addiction. My primary therapeutic modalities include cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) and schema therapy, with elements of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), internal family systems therapy (IFS), and attachment-based therapy (ABT). I am also trained in eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I am currently offering in-person and Telehealth appointments on Fridays, and Telehealth appointments on Thursday evenings. |
